MICHAEL HARDEE, MD
Dr. Michael Hardee graduated with honors from Duke University. He completed his residency and fellowship in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He has been practicing medicine since 1999. Although he went to medical school at Duke, he is a die-hard North Carolina Tar Heel fan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family [wife (Kristine) and 2-kids] and playing tennis.
Dr. Hardee enjoys all aspects of family medicine, from newborn care to senior citizens. Dr. Hardee is very knowledgeable in preventative cardiology. He educates patients to reduce risk of heart disease and manage diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Other office procedures he offers include (but not limited to) ; mole removals, wart removals, joint injections, trigger points, and weight management.
ANDREW SCHAEFER, PA-C
Andrew Schaefer obtained his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Denison University (Granville, OH) in 2007. During the next 1.5 years he worked at Beacon Orthopaedics in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH with orthopedic surgeons from the Cincinnati Reds professional team. In 2010, he graduated from Northeastern University (Boston, MA) with his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and has been working alongside Dr. Hardee ever since. He lives in Charlotte with his wife, two children, and dog. He enjoys spending much of his free time outdoors.
Andrew enjoys all aspects of family medicine with particular emphasis on illness, health promotion, and disease prevention. He also cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens. He values the relationships he builds with patients over time. Andrew is able to provide the same office procedures as Dr. Hardee including (but not limited to) ; mole removal, wart treatment, joint injections, trigger points and weight management.
BROOKE CRAFT, DNP, FNP-BC
Brooke Craft obtained her Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2011, from Queens University in Charlotte, NC. During the next 2.5 years, she worked as a nurse in the ICU unit at Carolina’s Medical Center and Mecklenburg Medical Group Rheumatology in Charlotte, NC. From January – April 2017, she completed her final clinical rotation at Hardee Family Medicine, with Dr. Hardee and Andrew as her mentors. In May 2017, she graduated with honors from East Carolina University (Greenville, NC) with her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Brooke is a born and raised Charlottean, went to South Mecklenburg High School, and is a humongous Carolina Panthers fan. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband and dog [Benji].
Brooke enjoys all aspects of family medicine with particular interests in pediatric & adolescent health, women’s health, health promotion and preventative care. Brooke is able to provide the same office procedures as Dr. Hardee including (but not limited to) ; pap smears and HPV screening, mole removal, wart treatment, joint injections, trigger points, and weight management.
KRISTINE HARDEE, PA-C
Kristine Hardee obtained her undergraduate degree in medical technology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she graduated with honors. Kristine has been practicing for more than ten years. Enjoying the wide variety offered by family medicine, Kristine sees patients from newborn care to senior citizens. Her particular interests are in pediatrics, childhood vaccines, and women’s health. She is well versed and knowledgeable in all aspects of family medicine.
